Winter Wonderland Photoshoot

WHOS GETTING SNOW!? I AM! It snowed last Wednesday and it's snowing today! I walked out of my last college final and opened the doors to it snow. I almost skipped out of my math final being relieved to be officially on winter break so when I saw the snow I actually did bounce a little in my step. Snowflakes are still falling.

Everyone gets so freaked out about the snow in Oregon! We aren't used to getting snow so when it does snow the roads get crazy and the people get wild. No one knows what to do. There are about 4 inches of snow (which is a lot for Oregon) The news makes four inches of snow sound like war. So over dramatic and I love it.

I have been sitting on the couch for a few hours catching up on everyone's blogs while I watch the snow fall and listen to the nutcracker. The other day I realize that I do nothing but blog related things for fun on my laptop. My hobby is an obsession. But anyways, I feel so at peace knowing that I am on break at last! I feel like I can breathe and recover from a busy term.

GOING INTO FULL ON INTROVERT MODE.

  3. We're getting a decent amount of snow up here in Washington, but it's about the normal amount for where I live. Still, the first time it snows every year, everyone has to get over driving in it. I haven't done much snow driving, but today I got stranded out and drove home when it was coming down pretty hard. Maybe I'm still blissfully unaware of the dangers, but the driving didn't bother me at all. Made me wish for a sleigh, actually ;) Have you had to drive in it?

    1. Snow isn't normal for the part of Oregon I live in. I am glad you are getting some snow. AH I know they have to remind themselves what it is like to drive in it and it can be messy! Be careful driving in that snow!!

  4. Enjoy your break!! :) I'm not the biggest fan of snow but I have to admit that it does look beautiful, I love seeing the landscape all covered in white. We actually haven't had much snow in Switzerland this year so far (or at least not where I live) and I'm really hoping for a white Christmas causr that's the only day I'd actually want snow x

  6. We don't get that much snow in TN either. It's funny. Whenever there is snow in the forecast the schools will close even if it's just flurries. Love the pictures!

    1. The school districts are almost always on the the first to shut everything down. This year they made a mistake to keep kids at school and when they got out they didn't come home until around 6pm! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  7. So far we've gotten freezing rain, but no snow. Ugh. Still, finishing up finals is glorious in any weather. :)

  10. AHHH you (& these photos) are gorgeous!!! Still waiting for our first snow over here on the East Coast-- so far all we got was a pathetic "wintry mix" with lame ice pellets and freezing rain.... but I've got high hopes (; But like oregon, NoVa flips out and doesn't know what to do and sometimes cancels at the drop of a hat. Enjoy the weather and I'm so glad you're done with finals! We made it! *hallelujah chorus* (: <3
